Overview

An established engineering and fabrication contractor is seeking an experienced Tekla Draughtsperson to join their growing design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven technician with strong structural steel experience to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed structural steel models, GA drawings, assemblies, and fabrication details in Tekla
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, specifications, and client requirements
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure design intent is met
• Maintain drawing standards and contribute to workflow improvements
• Support project delivery from concept to fabrication

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tekla Draughtsperson
• Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings
• Excellent communication, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
