I’m currently working with a well-established specialist contractor who are looking to add an experienced Cladding & Roofing Estimator to their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected business with a strong pipeline of work across façades, cladding, and roofing projects.

The Opportunity

My client is seeking a knowledgeable Estimator who can take ownership of tendering activities, deliver accurate costing, and support their continued growth. You’ll be working on a variety of projects, contributing directly to the success of the pre-construction team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project information to assess labour, materials, and programme requirements
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
• Collaborating with the commercial and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handovers
• Identifying value engineering opportunities and assessing risks
• Attending client meetings, site visits, and pre-tender briefings where required

What My Client Is Looking For

• Proven Estimator experience within cladding, façades, or roofing (essential)
• Strong technical understanding of building envelope systems
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
