Overview

A well-established contractor within the agricultural and industrial construction sector is seeking an experienced Cladder to join their team. The successful candidate will be involved in the removal and replacement of roof and wall sheeting on a variety of building types, working as part of a skilled site-based team.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove existing roof and wall sheeting on agricultural and industrial buildings.
• Install new cladding, roof sheets, insulation, flashings, and related components.
• Work safely at height using the correct access equipment and fall-protection systems.
• Maintain tidy, safe working areas at all times.
• Follow all site-specific and company health and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Ensure all work is completed to high quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cladding or general construction preferred but not essential.
• Comfortable working at height and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good practical ability and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
• CSCS card desirable.
• Full UK driving licence beneficial but not required.

Desirable Skills

• Asbestos Awareness Training (ideal but not essential — training can be provided).
• Experience working on agricultural or industrial sites.
• Confidence using hand tools and power tools relevant to cladding work.
